2019 Idaho Winery of the Year on the Sunnyslope Wine Trail

Wine Press Northwest's 2019 Idaho Winery of the Year is the Sunnyslope Wine Trail's Hat Ranch Winery! Hat Ranch Winery is owned by Tim and Helen Harless, a pilot and dentist duo, who have focused on growing unique grapes and creating proprietary wine blends since 2011. The couple also owns and operates the Vale Wine Co. label.

The winery was selected for it's bold, award-winning reds, including their 2015 Hat Trick Red which earned a gold medal at the Idaho Wine Competition,  their Vale Wine Co. label 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2016 Chardonnay, and 2016 Viognier which all earned gold medalß at the Cascadia International Wine Competition in Richland, Washington.
