Individual Winery Events

Plan to do something special during your visit to the Sunnyslope.

In addition to the trail-wide events, individual wineries frequently hold classes, dinners, concerts and even yoga classes! Make sure to check out what’s happening at each of the wineries you intend to visit to see if they have a special event you can incorporate into your trip to the heart of Idaho Wine Country. Winery social-media pages and contacting the wineries directly is typically the best way of learning about the upcoming events they are hosting.

Classes

Learn a little something on your next wine adventure. The wineries frequently hold classes in their tasting rooms or on the vineyard grounds. Education class topics range from ‘Wine 101’ to ‘Behind the Scenes’ tours of the grounds and production facilities to explain how wine is made.

Hands-on courses are also popular on the trail. Vine and Branch Ranch offers classes where you can learn to make (and then eat) your own pasta or cheese! Want to try your hand at creating something beautiful? Sign up for a make-and-take craft class to create a one-of-a-kind wreath, wine glass or painting.

Dinners

Wine makers’ dinners and farm-to-fork dinners are common on the Sunnyslope during the warmer months. Farm-to-fork is a very short trip in Caldwell, often many of the ingredients in your meal can be sourced from just down the road! Dinners are typically held on the vineyard grounds and each event is different. A renowned local chef will perfectly pair each course with wine, providing you with their tasting notes and inspiration behind each plate. Plus, the views and the company are sure to create an unforgettable memory of your time in Idaho Wine Country.

Concerts

There is nothing better than good music and great wine, and wineries make great concert venues! You’ll see a range of artists from up-and-comers to marquee headliners at these beautiful and unique Idaho winery concert venues. Ste. Chapelle, Indian Creek Winery, Vizcaya, and Kerry Hill hold regular concert series during the summer months, but most wineries will have an artist or two pop up for a concert every season.

Yoga

Wine, body, and soul! Get some exercise on your trip to Idaho Wine Country in one of the peaceful vineyards. Stretch and sip with Zhoo Zhoo or Indian Creek Winery who both hold yoga classes frequently!
